NEWLY ADDED PROJECTS ALERT!
⛰️ Stanbury Crest, Deseret Wilderness (UT) ⛰️
July 20-26, 2022. Strenuous: ~4.25-mile backpack with partial support (~1-mile unsupported).
We’ll spend the week clearing the Stansbury Crest trail corridor, re-digging sections of the trail, and realigning it in the gorgeous Deseret Wilderness. Click here for more info.
.
🌵 Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge (AZ) 🌵
November 6-12, 2022. Strenuous: Up to 2-mile one-way hikes carrying/lifting fencing materials.
We will be installing a secure metal mesh top for the refuge’s quail flight pens. The secure metal mesh top prevents quails from escaping and from predators entering. We will also be working to re-align 3 miles of wildlife-friendly fence that was incorrectly installed in 2019 in hopes of accomplishing this task before 25 new pronghorns are brought onto the refuge this winter. Click here for more info.
