Service Project Details
Our service project will tackle a variety of tasks including the manual removal of wooden bollards lining the roadway of the National Monument (using electric drills, hammers, chains, and handy jack lifts), the removal of debris from boundary fences (like downed trees, rocks that may have shifted), shoring up gaps and holes in our boundary fence (remedied with 6-strand barbed wire, tensioned with pliers in lieu of mechanical tensioner), and possible a few more projects!
We’ll be based out of the BelleFouche River Campground and will be hiking up to 4 miles with 350′ gain.
