After two long years, we’re excited to return to Hawaii’s Hakalau Forest National Wildlife Refuge. We’ll spend the week planting trees, removing and treating invasive plants, and doing a few smaller tasks if time allows.

After two long years, we’re excited to return to Hawaii’s Hakalau Forest National Wildlife Refuge. We’ll spend the week planting trees, removing and treating invasive plants, and doing a few smaller tasks if time allows.
A firm 60-day go/no-go will be in place for this project. Accepted volunteers will need to provide flight or travel information to project leaders between 50-59 days before the meeting date of the project to ensure commitment to the project.

Itinerary:
Sunday, June 25th. The group will meet at a time and place TBD. The group will go through check-in, introductions, and orientation, and will help set up camp in preparation for the work week ahead.
Monday, June 26th. Workday.
Tuesday, June 27th. Workday.
Wednesday, June 28th. Day off.
Thursday, June 29th. Workday.
Friday, June 30th. Workday.
Saturday, July 1st. Break down camp, goodbyes, and depart.
