Our project will be to overhaul and renovate campsites #61-64, including tent pad construction, replacing picnic tables and fire rings, installation of erosion control structures, and restoration of areas impacted by compaction and erosion.

Our project will be to overhaul and renovate campsites #61-64, including tent pad construction, replacing picnic tables and fire rings, installation of erosion control structures, and restoration of areas impacted by compaction and erosion. This project will completely reorganize the campsites and provide critical updates to infrastructure that will drastically prolong the longevity of these campsites.
Our volunteer crew will spend the week based out of Bread Loaves group camp.

Planned Itinerary
Sunday, September 22nd. The Volunteer group meets in the afternoon at a time/place TBD. The group will go through check-in, introductions, an orientation, and will help set up camp and prepare for the work week ahead.
Monday, September 23rd. Workday.
Tuesday, September 24th. Workday.
Wednesday, September 25th. Day off.
Thursday, September 26th. Workday.
Friday, September 27th. Workday.
Saturday, September 28th. Break down camp, goodbyes, and depart.

Free Time Details
There are over 25 miles of trails in the reserve and Castle Rocks State Park, located in Almo. Individuals can hike, mountain bike, go to the local hot springs, and go fishing. There are plenty of other recreating activities located in neighboring communities within 30 miles of Almo for those looking to branch out.
