Service Project Details
It’s been quite some time since we’ve worked in Monongahela National Forest and we’re so excited to return. Our volunteer crew will work to remove a blown-out culvert on the Middle Fork Trail of Cranberry Wilderness and with efforts to make the trail less confusing; rocks from the stream have been moved due to flooding in 2016 causing the trail to be hard to follow in this section. This project will require volunteers to hike approximately 3 miles each way and they must be able to carry parts of the culvert out and move many rocks.
