Volunteer your time to this compelling and rich National Monument. We’ll spend the week helping with signage installation and maintenance, invasive removal, and restoration efforts on a closed motorized trails. We’ll spend the week camped at Whitney Pocket and make the daily 15-mile RT commute to our job site. Volunteers should be prepared to hike 3-4 miles roundtrip daily as we complete our work along with the wash.
This project requires high-clearance AWD or 4WD vehicles, although some participants without these vehicles can participate if carpooling is coordinated ahead of time. Volunteers should expect to carpool to/from the job site each day in the high-clearance AWD/4WD vehicles.
