Service Project Details
We’re returning to Grandstaff Trail in 2024 to continue work on retaining walls, brushing overgrown vegetation, and closing “social trails” and braiding. The group will build drainage structures and steps as well as help clear flood debris from trails to make them passable. Volunteers should be able to lift up to 40 pounds, be comfortable working in temps above 80 degrees, and be able to hike 2-8 miles daily. We will be based out of Big Bend Campground for the week.
