This project may evolve, but is expected to include building and maintaining rock and brush structures at Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge, invasive species removal at Puertocito Wash, and a day dedicated to fence removal. Structure building and invasive removal would take place at the same site where Wilderness Volunteers worked in 2025, continuing efforts to improve critical habitat for the endangered masked bobwhite quail. Participants will contribute to meaningful, hands-on conservation work in a unique and ecologically important landscape.
