In partnership with Grand Staircase Escalante Partners and the Bureau of Land Management, Wilderness Volunteers will help remove woody invasive species (Russian olive) from riparian habitats of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. Using hand saws and hatchets, the work will take place in rugged frontcountry or backcountry environments, accessible by primitive road or foot trail.

Itinerary:
Sunday, October 4th. The Volunteer group meets at midday at a time/place TBD. The group will go through check-in, introductions, and orientation, and will help set up camp in preparation for the work week ahead.
Monday, October 5th. Workday.
Tuesday, October 6th. Workday.
Wednesday, October 7th. Day off.
Thursday, October 8th. Workday.
Friday, October 9th. Workday.
Saturday, October 10th. Break down camp, goodbyes, and depart.
