We’re stoked to return to the iconic North Country National Scenic Trail. We’ll spend the week working on at least 4 projects varying trailwork projects in the Allegheny National Forest. Projects include small reroutes/sidehill benching, turnpike work, stream bank stabilization, and a stone staircase repair.
Volunteers for this project must be able to hike 4 miles daily carrying tools and a day pack. and should plan for tent camping near cars. Volunteers will need footwear/boots to work in a stream bed (ankle to knee-high water). During the week we’ll be based out of Loleta Forest Service Campground.

Sunday, June 15th. The Volunteer group meets at midday at a time/place TBD. The group will go through check-in, introductions, an orientation, and will help set up camp in preparation for the work week ahead.
Monday, June 16th. Workday.
Tuesday, June 17th. Workday.
Wednesday, June 18th. Day off.
Thursday, June 19th. Workday.
Friday, June 20th. Workday.
Saturday, June 21st. Break down camp, goodbyes, and depart.
