Ohio is calling and Wayne National Forest needs your help! Volunteer for a week in the Ironton Ranger District as we take on trail maintenance, cleaning drainage features, tread maintenance, weed eating, and pruning the trail corridor.
Service Project Details
Get to know the magic and greenery of Wayne National Forest (a.k.a. “the Wayne”) in Ohio. This project will involve trail work, repairing/ building drainage features, tread maintenance, removing slash, installing trail blazes and reassurance markers, brushing/clearing, and more.

Itinerary:
Sunday, September 7th. The Volunteer group meets at a time/place TBD. The group will go through check-in, introductions, orientation, and will help set up camp in preparation for the work week ahead.
Monday, September 8th. Workday.
Tuesday, September 9th. Workday.
Wednesday, September 10th. Day off.
Thursday, September 11th. Workday.
Friday, September 12th. Workday.
Saturday, September 13th. Break down camp, goodbyes, and depart.
