Join us in Wisconsin’s Driftless Area for a project that will help address a significant backlog of maintenance on the park’s equestrian trails. Trail work may include clearing the trail corridor, de-berming, and reestablishing the trail tread to improve safety and sustainability. If time allows, volunteers may also assist with invasive species management. This work could involve cutting and, where appropriate, chemically treating Japanese barberry, honeysuckle, and buckthorn, which are beginning to overtake portions of the park. Volunteers will play an important role in maintaining healthy, accessible trails and protecting the park’s natural resources.
